Andy Cowan Promoted to Vice President of Business Development

First Financial Security, Inc. (FFS) is pleased to announce Andy Cowan’s new position as Vice President of Business Development. In this expanded role, Andy will lead efforts to grow life insurance and annuity production and create new opportunities for agents across the country.

Since joining FFS in October 2021, Andy has helped shape the company’s sales strategies and approach to agent training. His work as Senior Director of Sales has supported FFS’s growth, and his new position builds on that experience with a broader focus on business development.

“During my five-year tenure with the company, we've experienced many years of record setting growth,” said Andy. “This new role will help FFS continue its great track record of growth and success. I believe that the future is very bright for our agents.”

Andy will work closely with executive leadership to develop and implement strategies that increase production and agent success. His responsibilities will include strengthening recruiting efforts, developing field leaders, and expanding FFS’s nationwide network of agents and offices. He will also strengthen relationships with insurance carrier partners and identify new opportunities for business expansion.

At the center of that work is a commitment to helping agents build lasting businesses. Andy will focus on equipping the field with practical training, proven sales strategies, and the resources and support to become more productive. That includes helping agents strengthen their sales techniques and put effective strategies into practice as they pursue their business goals.
