Executive Field Chairman Chia Vang Joins the Esteemed Chairman’s Club

First Financial Security, Inc.^® is proud to recognize Executive Field Chairman Chia Vang for achieving the prestigious honor of joining the Chairman’s Club, a remarkable milestone in his distinguished career.

Born in a remote village in Laos as one of nine children, Chia learned early the value of hard work and independence. When the Vietnam War ended, Chia and his family fled their home, embarking on a dangerous journey across the Mekong River that eventually brought them to the United States as refugees in 1976.

With no knowledge of English and few resources, Chia worked 12-hour shifts as a janitor while attending school full-time — a reflection of the determination that would define his life. His drive led him to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry and build a successful career in research before ultimately finding his calling as an entrepreneur in financial services.

Since joining First Financial Security, Chia has built a thriving business with his wife and business partner, Kaolee Vang, dedicated to helping families protect their financial futures. Guided by his philosophy that “the only way to make big things happen is to stay focused on one long enough to win,” he has inspired his team to pursue success with the same purpose and persistence that has fueled his own journey.

Chia’s induction into the Chairman’s Club and promotion to Executive Field Chairman stand as a testament to his leadership, his commitment to the mission of First Financial Security, and his ability to turn obstacles into achievements.
